Koh Samui Activities
Koh Samui has all the obvious activities that might attract people to the tropical island holiday, but due to its unique position and accessibility there are many other activities available. Of course all the island pursuits are there, snorkelling, diving, fishing, sea canoeing and kayaking, as well as all the other water based activities, sailing, speed boats jet-skis etc. Not to mention just relaxing on one of the countless unspoilt beaches that can be found everywhere all round the entire island.
As well as these more common activities - for a beautiful tropical island that is - other attractions include the magnificent Santiburi 18 hole golf course which is included on the Asian tour - other smaller courses are also on the island. Football golf is also available in the north east of the island. Perhaps this will suit those who have a passion for both sports.
A bungee leap is set-up full time in Cheweng - the main night-life centre in Samui.
As well as sports, a crocodile and snake farm are based on Samui and always prove a great attraction for all the family, as long as you remember to keep your distance.
Samui has several waterfalls which are always worth a visit.
For the more spiritual the Big Buddha near Bangrak is worth a visit, along with many other temples spread around the island.
